Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan - Consultation

Clapham Parish Council has prepared the Clapham Neighbourhood Development Plan (CNDP) for the parish with the help of the local community.  The CNDP sets out a vision for the future of the town, proposes a site for housing land and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.

The SDNPA is satisfied that the submitted CNDP and supporting documents meet the requirements for a Neighbourhood Development Plan.

The SDNPA published the CNDP for consultation from 21 August to 2 October 2015 in accordance with Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

The SDNPA has appointed Mr John Slater as independent examiner of the CNDP.  The examiner will assess whether the CNDP meets certain legal requirements, known as the 'basic conditions' and consider the representations made on the CNDP.

Hard copies of the CNDP and supporting documents are available to view during normal working hours at:

  • South Downs Centre, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 9DH
  • Clapham Parish Council offices

Further details of the evidence supporting the CNDP is available at the CNDP webpage
